Tim and Jane have run The Queens since December 1999, adapting and renovating the premises to keep it a proper local — and a comfortable stop for anyone visiting the town.

Homemade food, locally sourced where we can.
The dining room sits just beyond the bar — vaulted ceiling, a large arched window, and doors onto the rear patio. Menus change daily, with a handful of house favourites kept on through the year.
- Piggin Chicken and beer-battered cod stay on as year-round favourites.
- Sunday roasts include Herefordshire beef and Shropshire turkey.
- Tables of six or more may require a deposit.
